20 thumbs up
the bright side of life :)
Sometimes we need here more Sun! :)) to get higher...
Alii & Aloha Berni, here, one never thought of wearing a helmet while rockclimbing, I think it has to do with the weight. I do understand having it on for safety reasons. One time we were caught in a heavy downpour, which just triggered my adrenalin skyrocketing. Instead of following the man made route, I took off on my own. Alas ,it was a good idea for we were able to stay dry between cracks. U know, just hang there midair. I'm way too excited for my cousins and I are planning to visit our country. That means, deep fishing at night under the moon and stars. I do plan to swim with the jellyfishes...they're harmless . Have fun while you can. :) Tu

Buon giorno Berni, which one is you in the picture? I noticed you wore a helmet in your last picture. Is it a law there to have one on? It is very festive now since everyone are awaiting the Labor Day Wkend. Smiles everywhere. Hope you're getting higher. :) Tu

Hello & Alii Berni, I think u have mentioned the pix already. I have one climbing in a cave in Hawaii. When I look at it, I tell myself I was lucky. The cave gaved in and death occured after my climb. I have come near death and yet I'm still here. Life has to be lived and not feared. Enjoy the climb. :)Tu

Hi Berni Aren't renovations lots of fun...not!! I found the more you try to renovate, a bigger, more expensive problem, usually is found. Hope you have better luck. Diving for me has become more sporadic as things have to be built in our new home. G

Yes you are right Bernie summer is simply stunning! The other day we with my friends floated on rafts on the river Mann! On the raft was about 25. They sailed for three days nature is very beautiful, on the shores of many mountains with funny names such as Mount Little Bear;)! Night to land and arranged a disco :-)! Generally there will be something to remember in the winter!

Wow! What a surprise, didn't know you are well cultured, hmm, most rock climbers are I believe now. When I was visiting Tokyo in '08, I tried to give tips to the waiter and he refused. Well, I didn't know my friend there have tipped them well in advance, if that was here in U.S. it will be a different story. I better not be biased, there's good and bad in every culture. I grew up mostly in the Japanese culture, both my parents spoke the language fluently. The island was called Little Tokyo back then. Someday I will get close to Mt Fuji, dreams, they never stop. How come they call us rockclimbers unsatiable beings? Our mind is just way too heavenly. ciao, Tu :)
