Dear Merty, Do the doctors have any idea what your son is susceptible to? I hope he soon recovers fully and that the doctors are able to prevent him from getting ill again. If he enjoys reading, he will be able to make good use of his time in bed. Like Robert Louis Stevenson who wrote many poems about his times of illness and probably read a lot while confined to bed as well as playing with his toy soldiers.
