Hej och välkomna till my page!

I am a swede living in Nashville,Tennesse!

Many years ago I landed here as an Au Pair,to stay for a year!But ,I met the love of my life and ended up staying here...we married in Sweden ,in a little country church,we had our honeymoon in a stuga on a lake deep in the forrest.Awesome!!!!

When we returned to the states I went to nursingschool,and via many crooked turns ended up in a pediatric clinic in Franklin ,TN..                        My husband is one of the best wood turners i have ever seen...He has a great eye for seeing how to turn a piece of wood into a gorgeous bowl!!I play making jewelry and glass objects in my sparetime!My favorite media are copper,silver and fused glass...so far selling some via word of mouth,and in a tiny store in Leiper´s Fork,TN

I miss Sweden every day,the smell of spring,tussilago,a summerday sitting outside drinking saft and eating strawberries and whipped cream,skiing in Tandådalen,swimming on the west or eastcoast of Sweden. Not to leave out my favorite meal..moosemeat steak with greenpeppersauce,new potatoes and lingonsylt(oh,first a small piece of toast with löjrom),and then strawberries for dessert!!!!!

I love this community,and talking to all of you!!!

My sister and I spend lots of time on Skype,and try to see each other every year(in Sweden if it is up to me)

  • Hej Eva! Tack för hälsningen som jag fick från dig, Karin och Ingrid. Det måste ha varit en härligt upplevelse att komma till Sverige och möta sin syster och goda vänner! Själv har jag fullt upp med att få i ordning mitt kontor. Lennnart har hjälpt mig fixa och dona så nu börjar jag trivas där. Det börjar bli höst här för "syrsorna har börjat spela" Jag är höstmänniska så jag mår bra nu, tvärtemot, Lennart som "bävar" inför mörker och vintern som snart kommer nu. Ha det bra där borta i det stora landet. Vi hörs snart, hoppas jag, min kära vän.

  • hej, yep i went home for three weeks and watched 5 games in port elizabeth, the city i grew up in. was fantastic. now back in sweden and enjoying the summer.
