I wish that I had been more willing to 'get wet' in my life. My mother was a bit of a controller and though I 'fought back' as a child, I eventually became quite timid, choosing the 'safer' path. With a strong willed child, you can bend or break their spirit. Yours, fortunately, and my granddaughters' were/are being bent and strengthened.
