Welcome to my page

Well, this years trip is over, unless I manage to fit another one in somehow!

What a fantastic time yet again, for the frst time I got to spend a few hours exploring the Stockholm Archipelego (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_archipelago), and all I can say is WOW! I'll definately be going back and spending a few days, either island hopping, or in a secluded cabin on one of the quieter islands...

We made it to the Vasa museum (http://www.vasamuseet.se/en/visit/) fantastic!, as well as the Modern art museum and Skansen - lots of cute young animals there!

There was loads going on in Stockholm, we saw a vintage car rally, a big food & music festival, as well as enjoying the atmosphere for the build up to the Crown Princess's Wedding to Daniel Westerling - We actually managed to catch a glimpse of the King, Queen, Princess & Daniel as we passed the Palace one day, I guess it was probably a practise for the big day - I was just disappointed I couldnt get my camera out fast enough to catch a photograph!

  • About: Swedish Culture Outside of Sweden. I don't really understand why creating a group about your topic. There is also a forum where al members can ask/answer all about Sweden and related items. Maybe one has to do some effort but what isn’t one can ask.
