Looking for ice and snow.
The winter is here again and all the lakes around Stockholm are covered with thick ice. Read more about wild skating in my blog (Tour skating in Sweden). See you out on the ice this winter.
When not on the ice I like to stay on the snow. Last winter my brother and I went skiing in Kittelfjäll Lapland.
Why not visit Landsort located on the island Öja in the southern part of the Stockholn archipelago. Every summer there is an outdoor art exhibition going on.

Anyone can create a group and other members can then join this group and discuss the group's subject and upload relevant photos. Sven-Ake, Thanks for the note regarding the train & station options. I just learned that members of the Russian team will be picking us up at Arlanda (their ferry lands about an hour before our flight does). Is there any chance we will see you on the ice at Storsjon? If you do come, I should be easy to find sailing under the sail # 'US-1'. Warm regards from a fellow 'hard water nut' Erich

Sven-Ake, Update: It looks like we will be in Sandviken/Storsjon, Arsunda area. It sounds like there may be good ice there. Do you have any insight into the area? We arrive Friday morning at Arlanda airport. Is there a train directly to Sandviken? or just Arsunda? (Our ride/host just informed us that he will be attending a funeral Friday, so we may need to get ourselves to Sandviken)
