  • Hi William I see my last message to you disappeared into cyber space. Hope this one reaches you. I managed to find two pieces of a kayak paddle that had been broken and lost in the current. The water has slowed down just a little so my diving area has increased. We have had some extremely hot days hovering over 90F with humidex over 100F.The lawns are dying and leaves are falling so we need a long easy rainfall soon. I see Hurricane Earl is a Catagory 4 again...I hope it doesn't reach land. Take care! G

  • Hope you are going to be okay with this storm. RI might go out to sea. Still very hot, but I seem to be getting more used to it. I do have to shower several times a day. Busy studying and filling out job apps. How is the foot? Good luck with the weather.

  • hi william how r u? many days passed did not here about you, hope well!

  • Hi William. There are many fascinating stories behind the Skagen painters. It is im´possible not to appreciate their wonderful work. I was checking about Wisnslow Homer and is a super painter. Certainly he keeps many things in common with the Skagen painters, despite it all they all shared the very same time in the history of art, when portraiting the everyday subjects of life was a trend an even some kind of purpose.

  • Hej William, thanks for the compliment. But I do not regret that it is finished, I have enough energy collected in those 5 weeks I can easily make a bridge to the next holiday. I hope the Iceland DVD will soon arrive. Greetings Daniël

  • Hi William This is the second hot day of 90F with humidity of 105F....tomorrow is the same again. I have been getting in the water most days and staying in without the wet suit for 2 hours. The bigger fish are coming up the fast current which is rare for August. no kayaking yet with this heat ...maybe in September. How are things going for you. G

  • Hi William, I am so happy to hear that your are recovering soon!!Go ahead!!I do agree with your feelings. It is really amazing that you have alrady bought several hundred rare books when you lived in the bigh city. You are so lucky! You must be very happy because you have so many great books with you.Have a nice weekend!Best wishes&regards,Heidi

  • Hy William, we have some rain, but this is a flat country so all the water not instantly flowing to one low point. We only have some small problems, with water in tunnels and that. This wet weather is a pity for the people of the Noorderzon-festival = a big theatre, music. dance -cross-over festival taking place in tents in a park. The weather will be better nect week, and i think about going to Copenhagen for a few days to visit the Kopenhagen Conteporary. So it's a good prospect. Othewise i alwys can go to Berlin for the weekend, or? choice enough. With all these activities i do not have time enough to clean my house - problems a man can have ;-?

  • hi Willam, Just want to say hello, in Holland it,s raining cats and dogs. In the next link you can see some picture of Holland. http://headlines.nos.nl/forum.php/list_messages/21445 Have a nice week-end

  • Alii & Hej William, My cousins in Calif and I are looking at X-mas & New Year. I just begun work so I may have to say it is for family emergency, ha, ha. I don't know if I mentioned it 2 u b 4, the trip will be unplanned, depends on the higher one compass. All my trips have been unplanned for I learned from past experiences, things changes as the season changes. I live in the moment, it envelopes me with greater peace and clarity of how holy this life is and oh, how life is such a temporary trip. Grateful, Tu
