Isabel, I have been studying German History for the past few years and it seems to me that Berlin is really the center of German culture...so since I will not have an unlimited amount time in Europe, being so far away, when we come to Germany I plan to spend most of trip in and around Berlin; like everyone goes in the US goes to New York to see the "Statue of Liberty" we will go to Berlin to see the Brandenburg Gate. Hope you get to spend more of your busy life in you home town.
