Hej, and thanks for stopping by my page. My name is Toheeb and I am from Prospect Heights, a north Chicago suburb. I first visited Sweden during the autumn of 2008 after I met a foreign exchange student from Sweden. I had never heard about Sweden before except from tv shows and some documentaries; I became intrigued and interested after having almost daily conversations about Sweden and felt it was neccessary to pay Sweden a visit. I had a very pleasant experience, spending the majority of my time in Linköping, a beautiful city two hours south of Stockholm. It was nice meeting people there and learning the way of life of the Swedish people. The two things that stood out to me are how everybody seems to own a bike and fika. I also manged to learn a couple of words in Swedish and can even hold a short conversation. I plan on returning to Sweden sometime in the near future to pursue a Masters program should i get accepted. Sweden is noted globally for being a frontrunner in research and development and I feel like i can learn a lot from studying in a different country. I also welcome all the challenges and new experiences that come with studying and living in a new environment. I signed up to this page to connect with people from Sweden and all over the world.
