(Message to all members) CommunityOfSweden.com has gotten it's biggest update so far: Groups! Anyone can create a group and other members can then join this group and discuss the group's subject and upload relevant photos. Oops, I guess I didn't read your whole introduction. I wonder if Mrs. Picasso was flattered. I think she probably understood the man and his work better than anyone else, and loved being memorialized in such a beautiful place. Gary (Erik's father-in-law) says the Hepatica Nobilis is called by some 'liver leaf' or 'liver wort' because of the shape of its leaf, but it is also called 'Blue Anemone' which I like better. He says it grows in Ontario. I think Gittan's profile picture is a Trillium. It grows in damp conditions near waterfalls and in Cedar forests. It is a protected flower in BC.

I meant to ask about the statuary in your picture. Where is it, and the question you shouldn't ask a sculptor, what is it?

Hello Hans, that's a lovely old watercolour of the hotel on your Top 5. Is there any way that someone looking at the bird pictures can enlarge the first one and then move through them all without having to enlarge each one separately? I have the same question regarding the pictures that people have taken and posted on Cos. I hope you had a lovely Easter with your family/friends. We had a combination Easter weekend and birthday celebration. Our youngest son is working next week-end, my real birthday, so my husband and sons talked on the phone and decided that our sons from Sooke and Vancouver would come up Easter week-end and surprise me. There were 12 for the barbecue on Friday evening and my birthday dinner on Saturday. Verne had to go home early Sunday morning to work in the afternoon, so we fitted 11 around our table for Easter dinner. Verne's wife wasn't able to come with him as she had to work a flight Whitehorse, Yukon territory this week-end. It occurs to me that if anyone is superstitious, we will have to invite an extra the next time we all get together. Have a great week.
