In 2003 I made my first longer trip to and through Sweden-by motorbike.
I took the ferry to Göteborg and drove to Huskvarne. There I visited the Huskvarna Fabriksmuseum, especially the motorbikes are very interesting. I made daytrips to Gränna and Eksjö. The next target for a few days was Stockholm. It was not so easy to find the right way by the first try to the Zinkensdamm vandrarhem-it looked on the map easier ;-) I enjoyed Stockholm so much by perfect waether, visited Gamla Stan, the Vasa, Skansen, Djurgarden, .... . this were perfect days.
After Stockholm I turned down to the south again and stopped in Loftahammar and after this in Nybro. While arriving Nybro the weather started to get worse, it rained cats and dogs. Not so nice, when you are sitting on your motorbike and you have problems to dry the shoes during the night again for the next day. I visited the glassfabric in Nybro and Orrefors and was happy again that I traveled by motorbike, because I had no much space to make a big shopping in beautiful things made of glass.
The rain don't stopped and so I decided to drive back home 2 days earlier with the promise to come back in autum by car.
Stockholm impressed me so much and I fall in love with this town, that I returned to Stockholm in 2005 and 2008 for a few days.
