I like it!

There is one thing that I lack in this online community. Where are all stories and photos from lovely Gothenburg? Give me Feskekörka, Avenyn, the good spirit, salty sea breeze and all nice places to hang out!

I am going there in March, so I guess I will have to do my share then.

  • Hi Bitte, yes I agree... I've been looking through the stories and there's not so much written about Gothenburg at all. I plan to relocate there soon so I'm eager to learn more about it.

  • Hej, Bitte! I have posted a couple pictures of Goteborg and the surrounding area. That is where my family is from. I love the west coast, although, I have to admit that you live in a beautiful city, too. Stockholm is my new favorite city in all of Europe! Hope you had a good time in Goteborg. I would love to hear what you did.

  • Hi Bitte.
    Gøteborg is my favourite city in Sweden and I visit as often as possible-around one time each month. I have put a few photoes and stories from Gøteborg and have found both photoes and stories from others in here as well.
    But I agree there should be more off this fantastic city.
    One of my favourite places in Gøteborg is Majorna, with it`s wooden houses and cosy places to eat og drink a coffee ( I`ll make a story in 2009).
    Another great place is the area around the Opera, and I was suprised that it`s not expensive to eat in the restaurant.
    Well Bitte now I see that your comment is from march 08, perhaps a lot has happened since.

  • Hej Bitte, Hope you enjoyed Göteborg. We are going there next month (September). I look forward to that. We'll spend a couple of days there then up to Säffle (Värmland), then back to Göteborg for a Kusin Träff, (one day only) Back to Säffle before heading for Dalarna (Insjön) for a couple of days. Then we will be off for 3 days in Stockholm before heading home again. Lots of family and friends to see. I look forward to seeing Valdemars Udde among other things. That is one of my favorite spots. I also look forward to the food, especially breads. Good thing we walk alot when we are there! I also want to go to Feskekyrka and eat räkor.
