If you ever find yourself in Stockholm during spring late april or early may then you might be fortunate enough to see the beautiful blooming of the cherry trees in the park Kungsträdgården.
They only bloom for about a week but it's such a week. They explode into fluffy pink flowers that brighten up the park and the mood of all who see them.
TV and newspappers from all over the country report in their news when these trees are in bloom. It's perhaps the only sure national sign that spring has arrived in Sweden.
After many months of cold and darkness, it's not hard to understand why the Stockholmers flock to this park to enjoy the beauty of the blooming cherry trees in the every stronger spring sun.
I try to experience this beauty every year since I moved to Stockholm and this year was no different.
I hope you'll enjoy some of my photos that I took yeasterday on April 23:rd with my mobile phone.
