We, 11 neighbours from 25 years ago, arrived by car at Paradiset around 09:00. Paradiset, is a nature reserve, about 20 KM from Stockholm city.
Our group started our walk at 09:30.
Next stop, after about 1 KM, was a food break by lake Trehörningen. A beautiful forest lake. We saw flowers and tadpoles.
After that we made one stop at Ugglekojan, and signed the guestbook in the wind shelter.
Around 11 me, and some others in the group that were walking first, made a stop to wait for the others. One of the ladies went aside, to relieve herself. Someone said she found something. Someone thought it might be fungus. I walked back towards her, to check, but when I met some others of our group they said the woman had found a European adder. I started to run back, very fast. I had to see this, and I was lucky to see it as well. A very beautiful snake.
Next stop was lunch at Riddartorp. We had a beautiful view over lake Öran. Me and my family had pasta salad with us, that we ate for lunch.
It was lovely in the forest. The weather was perfect. Not too warm and sunny. I walked ahead on my own a few times, so I could hear only the birds and the wind.
We arrived at Handen around 15.
