3thumbs up

I like it!
Stockholm is well known for its archipielago but the fact is that the archipielago of Göteborg is amazing as well and yes it can be warm in Sweden although the German weatherforecast (www.wetter.de) did not seem to think so. When I went to Göteborg with a group of very nice Germans in the end of June did the German weatherforecast predict 15 degrees and colder and rain, luckily was the Swedish weatherforecast correct:sunshine, 25 degrees, no rain. Göteborg is certainly a pearl on the westcoast.A really cool way to travel fast....What about a vikingydinner or why not your companys next Christmasparty in a castle?

  • Beautiful!
  • I'm a 70-year old American woman. I will be in Gothenburg the last week of August. I don't want to wear out my welcome with friends. Are there some activities I could do in the area by myself for a couple of days, such as visit a folk school or enjoy a wellness retreat?
  • Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos!

There are three kinds of stories:
Travel: these are all about the holidays and travel memories. Recommendations: these could be about the best shopping places in Stockholm or the must see places in the Swedish Lapland. Anything: these can be stories about Swedish midsummer celebrations, food or thoughts in general.
