My boyfriend and I have been in Stockholm from 30th december to 2nd january.
I know it has been a short holiday, but we succeded in visiting the whole city!
We arrived at Arlanda Airport and we took the Arlanda Express : we arrived in Stockholm in less than 20 minutes.
We took the TUNNELBANA and we got off at ODENGATAN station : our hotel was in Karlbergsvägen.
We visited Gamla Stan, Soedermalm, Kungsholmen, the Globen, a lot of churches etc..
We took a lot of pics and spent a wonderful night in Skansen to celebrate the new year's Eve [there we've also eaten a looooot of swedish dessert and we've drank the traditional JULMUST..It foams a loooot!]
The atmosphere was particular..It was "magic"..
The whole city was surrounded by millions of lights behind the windows and for this reason the darkness of the swedish winter was so fascinating (there were only 5 hours of light... from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
My heart is still in Stockholm and after this experience I can say I love swedish people and their culture.
I hope to spend soon an other holiday like that.
