Our trip 2008 in Sweden:
12th of sept. 5.25 PM I arrived in Göteborg/Säve.One our later I arrived in Trollhättan at the house of my best friend marika and her family.Just then we have birthday coffee with swedish cakes and bullar.It´s Edvina´s 3rd birthday.
13th:We had a walk along Trollhätte-kanal,then we drive to our other friends on the countryside,to fetch the car,they borrowed me(a very safe Volvo)I always love to meet them.after lunch I drove back to town,birthdayparty part 2 was going on,with family.I met Inger,haven´t seen her for 30 years.
14th:after breakfast,I drove up to Svanskog to meet berny and Gottfried,they live there still 2 years(germans from my homevillage)It´s so beautiful where they live.We had a nice walk around.I slept there and in the morning at 15th:I drove to lennartsfors to meet and fetch my girl.She showed me everything,where she lived and worked the last few months.She could be proud of herself.from there we drove to Oslo,found our B&B(adviced from Marlyse-thanks a lot)it was beautiful with a view over Oslofjord.We visited Vigelandpark(sculptures)and the harbour and had a "have us back"-cocktail near national theater.
16th:We drove back to Sweden and to Glasskogen nature reserve,wher we visited the camp,where Denise stayed alone mostly at the weekends-very lonely but beautiful region.We had a great journey back through Värmland and Dalsland.
17th:We were in Vänersborg with Marika and Edvina,little shopping,"fika" and walking at Vänern in Skräckleparken.in the aftern oon we visited Arne and Ingrid,the owners of the house we usually live in.I was so homesick ,when I saw it.In the evening we were invited to meet our other friends Karlssons,nearly the whole family with (the rest is in germany or holland)Had an amazing evening.
18th:Met Ewa,Marika´s mother and Andreas her brother in trollhättan,then we drove to our favourite places at the lake and to Halleberg(nature reserve)
19th:Shopping presents and in the afternoon we brought the car back to marianne-coffe was waiting with "hembakad bullar".we visited Pontus(pony),pärla and Söldocka(horses).In the evening marika made köttbullar for us,hhhmmmm.
20th :we had to go home.It was a bit too full,I was so sad,that there was no time to visit Barbro,or contact darryl,to meet him.But in 9 months i will be back!!!
