- Welcome to Härjedalen - Located in south Jämtland, Härjedalen has much to offer to the visitors. 13000 skm with only 10000 people living in, this make the unless populated region of Sweden, and also the most high with a medium of 500m/asl and more than 60 peaks over 1000m. Mountains, wilderness, bears, beavers, moose, reindeers (45000) and wildlife everywhere. Here you can see what is problably the heart of Sweden. Its forest, lakes and tundra, will recive you offering all their beauty.
